LUKAS LOOS IS A MIXER, PRODUCER AND AUDIO NERD based IN MAINZ, GERMANY

Making sure what the artist does actually reaches the audience’s (or the artist’s) ears the way it’s intended. With complex setups, difficult rooms, and tight schedules in modern productions, it’s easy to lose sight of why we do all this in the first place: the music and performance.

Bridging creative ideas and technical reality. Translating musical concepts into productions and shaping sound, whether in the studio or live. Paying close attention to detail without ever losing the bigger picture. Creating a sound that makes the listener feel the music.

Mostly mixing, with occasional mastering, done in my small, acoustically well-treated studio space. Equipped with high-quality analog and digital gear from ATC, Neumann, Schoeps, UAD, RME, and others. Also suited for recording single instruments, performances, and production work.

Over the past few years, I’ve grown heavily towards immersive live productions. I’ve gained extensive experience with systems from various manufacturers, alongside a strong interest in musical ideas and instrumentations that are less common in the Western world.
